The Arnstam Salsa Recipe

Years ago, a mom friend shared this salsa recipe with meโ€”and after countless batches and experiments, I still come back to this one every time. Itโ€™s fresh, simple, and packed with flavor. The secret? Stewed tomatoes. They give it that rich, deep tomato taste that store-bought salsa just canโ€™t match.

This recipe is so easy, youโ€™ll wonder why you ever bought salsa in a jar. Make it once, and youโ€™ll be hooked.

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • 1 can of stewed whole tomatoes (or stew your own)
  • 2โ€“3 jalapeรฑos (adjust to taste)
  • 2โ€“3 cloves of garlic
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ยฝโ€“1 tablespoon salt (depending on your preference)

Directions:

Drain the juice from the stewed tomatoes. Chop the onion and jalapeรฑo into large chunks. Throw everything into a blender or food processor and pulse until itโ€™s the consistency you like. Thatโ€™s it!

If you like it spicier, add an extra jalapeรฑoโ€”or toss in a habanero if you’re feeling bold.

This salsa is bright, fresh, and goes with everything from chips to tacos to eggs. No preservatives, no junkโ€”just real, vibrant flavor in every bite. After this, youโ€™ll never look at store-bought salsa the same way again. Comment below if you try this recipe!
