The Arnstam Salsa Recipe
Years ago, a mom friend shared this salsa recipe with meโand after countless batches and experiments, I still come back to this one every time. Itโs fresh, simple, and packed with flavor. The secret? Stewed tomatoes. They give it that rich, deep tomato taste that store-bought salsa just canโt match.

This recipe is so easy, youโll wonder why you ever bought salsa in a jar. Make it once, and youโll be hooked.
Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 1 can of stewed whole tomatoes (or stew your own)
- 2โ3 jalapeรฑos (adjust to taste)
- 2โ3 cloves of garlic
- Juice of 1 lime
- ยฝโ1 tablespoon salt (depending on your preference)

Directions:
Drain the juice from the stewed tomatoes. Chop the onion and jalapeรฑo into large chunks. Throw everything into a blender or food processor and pulse until itโs the consistency you like. Thatโs it!
If you like it spicier, add an extra jalapeรฑoโor toss in a habanero if you’re feeling bold.
This salsa is bright, fresh, and goes with everything from chips to tacos to eggs. No preservatives, no junkโjust real, vibrant flavor in every bite. After this, youโll never look at store-bought salsa the same way again. Comment below if you try this recipe!
