The Gospel
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is essential for everyone to hear for the salvation of their souls. God loved the world so much that he sent his one and only son to die for the sins of all people and be reconciled to Himself, and anyone who believes in Jesus will have everlasting life (John 3:16).
The Basics
Once someone hears the gospel and believes in Jesus, they must learn to follow Him! The basics include learning the doctrines of Jesus Christ (what Jesus taught in the Scriptures) and who God is. The Bible, early church fathers, and many other writings provide objective evidence for these topics.
Growth & Maturity
Understanding the basics is just the start of our journey with Jesus. Christians should always strive to grow and mature into “little Christs.” Each day presents an opportunity to walk in the Spirit and live a life that reflects our calling to be examples of God’s love on earth (Ephesians 4:1-6).
